Like Harry, Ron is a Gryffindor primarily in his traits and approach - and likely centers on a fast, hard-hitting strategy in duels. Ron's wand core, unicorn hair, indicates his loyalty, reliability or dependability, and stability, both as a spellcaster and a friend. Ron also has "great potential" in terms of duelling and spellcasting - provided he puts his mind, time, and hard work towards honing his skills. Gryffindors tend to be more combative and aggressive spellcasters, and Ron's wand indicates he likely has a hidden talent for advanced, non-verbal magic, which would aid him as a duellist and Auror. Ron Weasley - Willow, 14", Unicorn Hair core - In my survey, Willow was even rarer than Holly - 1% of respondents - but still tended to choose Gryffindors. I also wrote more extensively on holly wood here. Harry also greatly prefers to use "Expelliarmus" as his go-to offensive spell. Harry is a Gryffindor primarily in his traits and approach - and likely centers on a fast, hard-hitting strategy in duels. 
However, he would make for a fearsome duellist and Auror, especially since the phoenix feather core indicates "detachment", and the pair of holly and phoenix is "notoriously difficult" to successfully pair. Gryffindors tend to be more combative and aggressive spellcasters, and Harry is no exception, being protective, but prone to anger and impulsiveness. Holly also almost always chose Gryffindors, and I feel shows that Harry is a "true Gryffindor".
Harry Potter - Holly, 11", Phoenix Feather core - According to a survey I did a few years ago, Holly wands were quite rare are a Pottermore result, with only 2% of respondants getting it as a result. Other info is taken from previous surveys of r/harrypotter by me, here and here.
